Hows the performance?

Great i tested it on Furmark Crossfire and non Cross fire and got a perfect 200% scale (75fps on single, 150fps on crossfire)

not tested it on any games yet still tidying up haha

Build is amazing, love the Desk!! But too much red led in build for me. Do you plan to watercool the 290x's too? Also noticed there isn't a window on the case, you removed it?

Really nice setup and build the only thing is the R9 290x isn't meant for crossfire, they even tested it that there is no performance inscrease.

^ Telling us that top tier cards are not made for crossfire shows lack of research,.... or just plain troll baiting?

You can check out PCPER's crossfire article... because it works fine for them...

SLI/Crossfire IS a big deal, for both camps, especially on the top tier cards trying to push 1440p>4k with Ultra details....

You NEED to read up a bit more before making a statement like that. (Or your just going to be flamed by others by the lack of knowledge)

http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Frame-Rating-AMD-Radeon-R9-290X-CrossFire-and-4K-Preview-Testing

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yeah i removed the plexi. there is a triple rad up top with three SP120's so i thought i would give them as much air as they needed. No I don't have any plans to OC the 290x as I can get them to 1130mhz and 6000 effective Memclocks and still keep them nice and "cool" gives me around a 10% boost in performance as well!

Not sure where you get this info from. I get a perfect 200% scale on Furmark (75fps vs 150fps) and damn near 170-195% scale on any game I have tested it on. How else do you expect people to run highly demanding games in eyefinity on one card... cant be done.
