Google engineers issue 'fuck you' to the NSA's spying scandals

Two Google engineers recently took to Google+ to give blistering public critiques of the ongoing NSA surveillance scandal.

Fuck these guys.

I've spent the last ten years of my life trying to keep Google's users safe and secure from the many diverse threats Google faces… But after spending all that time helping in my tiny way to protect Google -- one of the greatest things to arise from the internet -- seeing this, well, it's just a little like coming home from War with Sauron, destroying the One Ring, only to discover the NSA is on the front porch of the Shire chopping down the Party Tree and outsourcing all the hobbit farmers with half-orcs and whips.

That's right Google, stick it to the man! We need more people like this to stand up to the NSA and openly denounce them. Hopefully companies will band together to do something about the NSA.

This is what motivates me to pursue a degree in computer science so I can work for google.

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

The same company that is going out of their way to be on nearly every communication device, had a dodgy written TOS when Chrome first launched that claimed everything submitted via Chrome was their property and collects your data for the sake of spitting back ads is suddenly anti spy?

That response is almost as good as the guy that gave the encryption key to the NSA printed out on paper.

Hopefully one character per page, right?

And all jumbled up as well.
