So recommendations? this only proved my point, it seems like there's always an issue no matter where i look. I understand that ASUS issues where almost half a year ago so it's not hard to believe everything is fixed now, but i still don't know which MOBO suits my needs best. Do i need b650? x670? b650e? Which brand, what model? Is PCIe 5.0 worth it considering i want to keep the system for at least 5 years?.  I know it's a lot of questions but it does get pretty tiring trying to do research and just going in circles for weeks, every time i decide for a board i google it and discover people telling me to avoid them.

Your personal opinion and preference doesn't change the fact that higher TDP is a big downside for some people. The reality is that Vega came out a whole year after the release of the 1070/1080, only to deliver higher temperatures, higher TDP, for the same price and performance. Even if it had a better TDP and better temps, i would consider it a failure. People really waited a whole year for performance they could have gotten a year earlier?. The only reason i would pick up an Rx Vega is if i'm planning on getting a freesync monitor. But the recent failures of AMDs GPUs have forced me to get a Gsync monitor already. (What's the point of 144hz Freesync monitors if their GPUs can't get to those framerates).

Start at 4.2 and if it doesn't crash move up, if it does, move down.

1.3v is what you want to use. Now depending on the GPU you have, this might not help your bottleneck at all.

Heaven doesn’t use CPU at all. Run cinebench, and you did that correctly.

As you already have a z170 i would be more inclinded to get the 6700k over the 7700k. Yes the 7700k can clock higher but it has awful TIM. Where as the 6700k didnt suffer these problems. I can get 4.6ghz on my 6700k and never goes above 60 in 1440p gaming paired with a 1080 hybrid

AMD isn't targeting gamers exclusively like Intel, it's targeting content creators and gamers who don't mind a lower end gaming experience and the same rendering and content creation performance as an $1000 CPU for $500. 

Because Ryzen isn't the best at gaming but is great at more mixed workloads. 7700K is still the best chip for games. AMD won't be able to beat the 7700K in performance this year

I forgot to mention i already have storage, case and used RAM already. And you don't need a 1050ti, that's actually a great card for high-ultra settings and 50-60 fps at 1080p.
He uses a 720p or 900p monitor (Don't remember well), and you don't need ultra settings to have a good gaming experience. There are TONS of cards under the 1050ti performance that provide a decent gaming experience, as long as you're willing to play at medium settings.

I have the P400S and my wife has the P400 Tempered glass.  I can say without a doubt that I love this case.  It has quite a bit of room, lots of filters and yes the all included RGB LED on the front of the case with controller.  Just remember, to get the RGB LED inside the case you need to purchase the strips seperately.  They cost around 20 bucks for the kit and they just plug straight into a pre-installed plug so its quick and easy.  Here are pics of my build and my wifes AMD build.
 
 

It depends. 1440p 60hz is not a worthy improvement, you'll need a bigger GPU and the jump in resolution is not worth it. But if you go 1440p 144hz, then you will be able to even skip 4k and wait for the next best thing in the future. There's nothing better than 1440p 144hz right now apart from ultrawide experiences. I wouldn't recommend waiting for 4K. It's limited to 60hz, and even if we had 4k 144hz monitor, we simply don't have any GPU in the market that would make a monitor like that justice. 

I don't think a cooler looking card and a DVI-D port are worth 600$ extra. But you are right, 10 months is a long time, i love how people try to act like 1080 and titanxp owners got screwed, when we've been enjoying our cards since may.

The 400c is slightly bigger, has better airflow, an acrylic window, and more convenience when building.
The elite has a nice tempered glass panel.
Unless you plan on doing heavy liquid cooling or a dual GPU, the s340 is the way to go.

I have a 140mm RAD as a rear exahust in my system. You'll have no issues.

Wait! That's what ill say cus Intel is launching new i5 and i7 models namely 7640k and 7740k. It's better to wait and make your decision after this.
