Or people who are into car culture and genuinely enjoy driving.And while automated cars interest me somewhat, I do happen to enjoy driving and I am very good at it.
Also, keep in mind the same companies making these automated cars have had many, many issues with regular cars. Automation is no guarantee of safety when they can't even get the basics right. Air bags filled with shrapnel, throttles sticking, ignition issues, my car had a recall last year for possible fires due to oil leaks, the list goes on. I mean we can't even trust VW to not lie about emissions let alone safety. Look at the GM ignition deaths. A simple ignition switch wasn't even done right and many died for it.
In the US, driving is not a right, only a privilege so we may see it taken away one day. But hopefully by then they will be able to build a machine I trust fully. That time isn't here yet.
And I am not sure SCCA events would be as fun.

i have to admit, halo 3 was the only reason i bought a 360 back in 08, at the time it was worth every penny, enjoyed the shit out of that game, yeah i also got other games on it to but halo 3 was the only thing that made me bought one, MCC was very close to that but given the launch issues the excitement died rather fast for it, and this is really making me consider to buy a xbone, i swear if the game is as good as this promo material makes it out to be, i'm going to cave in and buy one when i have the money

You haven't argued a single one of mine this entire thread. If you want in the ring with the heavyweights, you need to shape up. Internet access is not a right, but that said there are places in every state in the nation where you can get it 24/7. The FCC is not tasked with public goods. It is tasked specifically with interstate and international communication regulations with respect to the USA. 
 
Handing out free internet in the homes of the poor is not a solution and in fact only encourages remaining poor. I'm sorry, but the welfare nanny state must come to an end somewhere. The poor have more than abundant resources in this country to fend for and better themselves if actual effort and intelligence is put forth on their part. If neither can be summoned, let the buggers rot. It's their choices which affect them most. I should not have to pay for their terrible decisions, end of story. Freedom to and freedom from, a duality you'd better familiarize yourself with. I should be free from having the government spend my hard-earned money in frivolous ways without my consent. This is firvolous.

Really starting to wonder if we'll ever get out from under this government. We seriously need a convention of states to remove them ALL from power and re-constitute the government into what it should be. A true democracy instead of this BS "representative" system that's only led us to corruption.

You do realize that the US has more oil than a vast majority of the world? They export more than they import?
