Oh hey, look, further evidence that Intel's gameplan is to foist their server side upgrade schemes onto the rest of the market.

This'll be nice when UHDBR becomes worth picking up. Interpolation with svp may not be perfect but i prefer it to original 24/30fps.

It's always just a matter of time with this stuff.
 
Also, having digital copies of things you own already isn't illegal in a lot of locations.

Definitely the thinkpad. Better in everything other than performance, so unless you really need the extra beef or the thinkpad is hella beat just get the x220

If she doesn't trust your judgement, that's most likely because she sees herself as ugly (even if that's not true). These cases are difficult to deal with. It can sometimes be incredibly frustrating to look at an absolutely gorgeous and beautiful woman, tell her you find her beautiful, and for her to reply something along the lines of "You're wrong I'm <fat/ugly, etc>".
 
The best course of action in my experience is to subtlety keep reinforcing her confidence. When she says she doesn't trust your judgement because you're biased, tell her "I still believe it, I can see it with my own eyes", etc.
 
Also, if it's severe, she should consider counselling or therapy, but unless she comes up with the idea, suggesting it can easily backfire.
 
"Homecoming" is a dance - often fall/winter themed, often around Christmas. If your country does "Prom", it's kind of like Prom.
 
Basically it's a school dance where people are expected to go as couples, wear fancy dresses and suits, and there's usually a mix of slow music for "couples" dancing, and fast/contemporary music (Eg: Top 40's/Pop, Country, club music, dubstep/EDM, Rock, Metal - depends on the local culture and music tastes of the school).
 
Often the dance will have a theme, but this is not strictly mandatory to meet the definition.
