I have the Pro and two things I noted

    1. Temps are great 37 at idle on an open bench

    2. I keep looking at it because I can't believe it isn't make any noise at all, it is ridiculously silent.

I have not put it under any load at the moment though but at idle very quiet.

If a case can fit a dark rock pro 4, it's basically not restricted. The pro 4 is the better performer.

    I have a NZXT H440, i7-6700K, Asus Z170-A, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz, EVGA GTX 1080 FTW.

I need to choose between the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 and the Dark Rock TF. Which one would be the better, keeping in mind case restrictions?

I can only choose between those 2, so while I appreciate other fan recommendations they won't be needed in this case.

I can't control the fan curves even through BIOS. The overclock is literally only 0.01 more so I don't think it'll affect anything...

Macs can access photos from an iPhone, but it would also have to be a Mac that you had used before or have associated with your iCloud account, otherwise your phone would have to working so that you could hit the "trust this computer" button. I think windows computers can do it too, but I forget how.

Wait, I just remembered that Iphones need to be heated with a heat gun in order to melt the adhesive holding the display and the bottom of the phone together.

Minecraft Premium is required. But really, you can literally buy an account on eBay for a dollar to five dollars if you want access to changing the skin, password, and username or not... And to get your own account fresh is only 25-30 bucks. It's worth it. I used to pirate, and it's really not fun because most of the good servers are premium only. Not being able to have your own skin (and back when I pirated I was always stuck with an Alex) really sucks, too. Of course, if you're flat broke and it's your only option, go for it.

    Deleting is not overwriting.
There were 990, they were erased, 8 new pictures were written.
    990-8=982 pictures should be recoverable.

    +1

Any standard recovery software would be good at getting these pics back. as it stands, they should be pretty easy to recover.

do not write any data to the SD card. if it has a toggle to go into read only mode, flip it.

the important part in data recovery is to not overwrite the old data, do any writes your system does, even if it's just routine disk maintenance or something, could royally fuck up your images. toggle read-only mode to keep your stuff safe.

Probably won't work on all pictures since it's been overwritten, but OP should definitely try recover as much as possible

    1. Keep a close eye on the remaining picture counter. I think what happened to you will make this impossible to forget.

    2. If other ones aren't overwritten, then you can copy all of them to a computer.

    3. It shouldn't, but I guess making it save .raw files overrides some of these settings.

I did not get a warning, I just expected to get an error. If I did get a warning then I would have acted immediately.

And, thanks guys, you have given me hope that I would be able to retrieve the files. I will post an update when I'm home on Tuesday.

I don't think the card or camera has any issues so it'll be no problem to keep using them.  Unless you have spare cards you can use since the first card might be close to being full.

    i'll put it like this:

i straight up banned wifi access points from my bedroom with reason, but this is ridiculous.

wifi isnt "dangerous", it doesnt "boil your brain very slowly", nor will you "get cancer" as if you're sniffing burnt caramel (when caramel burns it actually produces something quite cancerous in large amounts)

however, if you notice any of these symptoms, i suggest decreasing the wifi signal, specificly in the bedroom area:
(note i'm saying decreasing, those guys who live in a farraday cage are flipping idiots)
    - frequent and/or intense headaches
    - trouble sleeping
    - even if having slept long still feeling tired

i'm not saying that "too much wifi" will cause these symptoms, i'm saying it's from own experience certainly related for some (and not for others) and if you notice this, it's defenately a good place to start before mindlessly popping pills.

at some point in the past i basicly had all 3 of those things, as did my dad and my sister (who are both horrible sleepers already) and at the point my "sleeps like a rock" mom got issues as well i decided to do an experiment without their knowledge:
on random nights i'd switch between wifi on at night, or wifi off at night, and every morning ask if they slept well.

findings: (note: none of them knew of this experiment until long afterwards)
    - strong wifi signal on during the night seems to decrease the 'rest' achieved from sleeping over time
    - having wifi turned off at night seemed to be a near-instantanious fix
    - letting wifi on at night again restarts the "rest decreasing" path.

my personal conclusions: i've since moved my access point to a place in the house where it does cover the bedroom, but only with 1-3 bars of reception depending on the device. since then my mom is back to her "sleeps like a rock" pattern, my dad no longer wakes up 3 times per night (once a week max ) and my sister also had improvements.

it's not a matter of being "bad for you", it's a matter of "being sensitive to it".

EDIT: also, those people are scammers profiting on the "stupidity" of average joe.
