The cooling factor should be fine and the only difference between atx and matx is that the matx is smaller but does just as good a job as a atx just fewer expansion slots

I disagree I know for a fact since ati days that the amd firepower graphics card is just as good as NVidia for engineering , graphics design plus medical usage

No the7950 & 7970 do not use cuda but does use opencl also it depends on your preference but your doing more for the work I would have to suggest 7970 which can be used for gaming
