Case Investment?

     Hello, new forum member here, as well as a novice in the world of PC building. Right now I am in a unique point in my life where I can spend a little extra money on a PC I plan on using throughout college, as well as some moderate gaming on the side. My question is this, due to my monetary situation, would spending money on something like a CaseLabs case as an investment be a wise choice? My thought process being that since I have the money, why not, and any future PC upgrades I might have would easily fit into one of their cases. Not only that, but if I decided to watercool in the future, I would have the space covered. Or, am I a little bit over my head, and should just go with something more suitable to my building experience?

Welcome to the forum, I do think it would be a good investment to get a CaseLabs case.

I don't personally see the point in dishing out more money for a case than I would on a CPU / Motherboard / GPU. Personal preference.

For college, I would go with a mini itx system. Something like a hadron or a PC-TU200 would be optimal. Depending on which GPU you want to go with, keep a few cables which lead to VGA/HDMI so that you can use it with pretty much any form of display.

I prefer to spend money on cpu,gpu,ram,motherboard. those will make the biggest difference whereas a case doesnt come with as many benefits

It depends how much money you can blow. Caselabs isn't exactly cheap.

I would plan my build of my computer before investing in a single part like a computer case & set the budget of the build so that  I know what the over all cost will be
