I saw an Instagram post on LTT for ZeroLatency VR. I thought it looked super cool, because I thought most of those companies died of covid. 
 
I was excited that there was a 20% off coupon from LTT, so I applied it online, and made my reservation! 
 
Things turned around when I went to check in. I arrived at the counter, they pulled up my reservation, and they told me the total would be $100. But... That's the full price! I had been quoted $80 online because of the 20% coupon. I asked them about it, and they said that even if the coupon was entered online and showed as working, they don't take coupons and the only way to get a discount is if you have a credit from a missed appointment. I showed them the LTT post where it says the coupon code could be used, and they didn't care. I ended up paying full price.

Heard back from ZeroLatency today. They explained that the employee at the location was fairly new and had not heard about the promotion. They said they have remedied the issue and offered me a few free visits, which I declined as I don't live close to any of their locations. 
 
I'd say that solves the problem 🙂 all good from my end. Thanks @SeanLMGfor helping with this!

Just a follow up on this, we spoke with Zero Latency, and they'll be reaching out to @TechyAlex by email directly to make this right. They're following up with this, and all, locations to ensure that this mistake doesn't end up happening again. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

You can't get a decent prebuilt for $450 (or any price really, they're all ripoffs...). Instead, I'd consider building your own PC...

You're expecting to get a gaming rig, monitor, and keyboard and headset for $575? You're dreaming.

I am a horrible person but I haven't cleaned my PC since I got it two years ago.

Literally comes down to this: Windows or Mac? Which do you prefer? If you use an iPhone, get a Mac, as much as I hate Apple products the ecosystem is so good.

So a while back (~1 year) I was screwing around with a new drive I had purchased. It is a 1TB Western Digital, don't remember if it was blue or black tbh. I was messing around in windows disk manager, and I somehow tricked the drive into displaying as being 9TB. I basically made a new partition, and made it 9TB, expecting it to error because it is only a 1TB drive. 
 
My first thought was that windows was simply displaying it as 9TB, when it was actually still 1TB. So, I did what any sane person would do and I ran a recording software on my computer at 1080p60fps for a few days, using OBS at like 10,000 bitrate. So as imagined, i filled it up pretty fast. To my insane surprise, I came back and it had recorded 3 terabytes worth of storage. WHAT!?!??!? So I went in and watched it, skipping around like crazy, and it was not even corrupted. It was all visible and working as intended. 
 
So my next step was to check bios. Bios labeled it as a WD 8.99 TB drive. I was so shocked. 
 
This all happened before I really ever knew about this forum, and it never really occurred to me to post it anywhere.
 
What I ask of you, LTT Community, is to test this. I want you to use some dummy drive you have and press every button available in windows disk manager. Why? Because I want to see if this is duplicatable. I want to see if someone can do this again. If you can, please document your results in a reply, as well as steps to do this. Wouldn't it be cool if we could all just buy 100GB Hard Drives and have them have infinite space?
