PlayStation 2 reacted to dizmo in WiFi for gaming?
Is that actually better? IIRC they have significantly less bandwidth than a high end wireless set up.
Have you ever used a high end one?

Under Armor > Adidas for wide shoes (at least for me.) Adidas doesn't sell many styles in 4E width and Under Armor shoes have been much more durable for me so far. A bit pricier, but they were worth it.
Also on the topic of Hydroflasks, there's some headass on eBay selling a red Hydro Flask with a Supreme sticker on it for $400.

I can't wear either because my feet are too wide for them shits. Adidas are the only ones that fit my feet decently.

PlayStation 2 reacted to Commodus in 40 AG's In Google Multistate Bipartisan Antitrust Investigation
That's the thing. It's easy to assume California is simply trying to court Google -- and it might well be, to be clear -- but I think we need more evidence before reaching that conclusion. For all we know, it's preparing a separate investigation or lawsuit that just doesn't dovetail with what the other states are doing.

PlayStation 2 reacted to Taf the Ghost in 40 AG's In Google Multistate Bipartisan Antitrust Investigation
There's a little bit of a historic legalism involved in the Tobacco case, mostly because a few State AGs did things separately. However, Google managed to convince everyone to hate on them. That's a solid achievement.
More than likely some of Google's more questionable products have caught up state agencies across the country, and, as a result, a lot of factions have a strong interest in Google keeping their traps shut.

Even after considering that sentence for several minutes, I'm still not sure how I feel about it beyond all avenues leading to scary places.

Google has successfully pissed off more State AGs than the Tobacco industry did.

I've got Nike's on rn (do have muh Converse high tops at home), would've gotten Adidas to go with my tracksuit but they all had white soles. I have enough hell trying to keep my converses looking decent, me and white soles don't work well.

Whatever you do, don't get a hydroflask. You don't wanna start painting on Vans, saying "sksksksk" and using TikTok.

fr tho, if you're wearing vans instead of converse you're doing life wrong.

PlayStation 2 reacted to colonel_mortis in oversight in status updates
This isn't ideal, but it's not a cause of problems, and therefore isn't something that IPS has been willing to fix in the past. However, updating the whole status updates system is on my roadmap (my roadmap is very loosely defined though, and that just means that I intend to assess the feasibility of it in the next 6 months or so), which would resolve this.

Just get a thermos if you want insulated, or grab a hydroflask if you wanna wear scrunchies and spam sksksksksksk.

Should update the headline (it's 50 AGs), but sounds like Google is in line for the kind of scrutiny it got in Europe.

PlayStation 2 reacted to givingtnt in oversight in status updates
Yes, see, the user's page is nothing but a container. it holds all the nessesary items to display the status update info correctly.
So whether you put in my status or yours, it fits and will work. But you can't pull a
?status=243641&type=status PHP request in any page, it woudn't work.
regardless, Unless there's a clickable link (IE an interface item the user can click on, there's no such thing as an oversight. You put in different numbers by changing the link, You are therefore not using the forum as intended.
This is more of a PEBKAC issue than anything tbh..

PlayStation 2 got a reaction from flibberdipper in oversight in status updates
I doubt it's an oversight, but rather, something that makes looking for topics and/or status updates on the developers' side way easier as it doesn't have to compensate for fuck-ups in the user's name or in the thread's title. Essentially, it means that even a completely irrelevant title can still be perfectly usable to search for that same topic so long as the actual topic number is correct.

PlayStation 2 reacted to Orcblood in Vivaldi Browser Coming to Android
I do! Seems like we get overlooked a lot. Started using it a 1 year & 1/2 ago. It's so superior to anything else I've tried. I have dark theme applied, with the panel on the right instead of the default left. So many things I love about it! The panel is awesome, the closed tabs trashcan thing is awesome(so many times i've accidently closed a tab without thinking and realized i wasn't done with it), being able to have different webpages in a grid for comparisons or data entry, nice F2 searching, well layed out settings screen, so much customizing, built in chromium, crossplatform, etc...
Edit: Also this was published using it

PlayStation 2 reacted to Mnky313 in Vivaldi Browser Coming to Android
Finally! They have been saying it would come to android for a while now, I started using it years ago and have stuck with it ever since.
Edit: there is a beta apk out, I downloaded it and am quite disappointed, it's an alright mobile browser but the lack on chrome extension support and no custom theming makes it just alright. I hope when the full version comes out it has more features.

PlayStation 2 got a reaction from Origami Cactus in 768p/1080p on 32 inch led tv
I’ve used 1920x1080 on a 1360x768 native res TV before and it looks fucking awful. I’d run the native res so long as your GPU doesnt attempt to upscale it to 1080p.

you dont convince them. you start saving the money yourself. and it doesnt need to be a whole lot to get a pretty decent system going or getting a used xbox or playstation.

PlayStation 2 reacted to WereCat in Vivaldi Browser Coming to Android
I use Vivaldi on the desktop ever since it was in Beta. I am looking forward to try it on Android.
I am using DuckDuckGo browser on my phone as of right now and occasionaly I use Brave as well.
As long as I can at least sync my tabs between my phone and desktop with the Vivaldi browser, it should be fine. If they also add some interesting features to the mobile version like they did on desktop, then that would be sweet!
