I've been hurt by too many devs to trust even the most reputable companies. I just feel like it's going to crash and burn :(

Being an EGS exclusive is an oof, but it should be awesome when it comes out on Steam. Movement is pretty damn good, game looks gorgeous, and guns handle incredibly well (there's a 2 shot break barrel shotgun that feels amazing to use). I got to play a demo at GuardianCon, I played the character (forgot her name) with a mech, the mech itself felt kinda eh IMO (but then I was on controller when I usually play M/KB), but actually running around shooting felt really good. Much better than the older games have felt when I tried them, maybe on par or slightly better than Destiny 2 IMO.

I suppose it comes down to personal taste and trust lol. Don't get me wrong I want it to be THE game of the 2010's, borderlands 2 was great brought a perfect mix of story, comedy and awesome violence to the gaming scene. We'll have to wait and see in 3 days time :)
