ray tracing is not a requirement, its like in ffxv gamework turff effect, it tank 10fps for a bit better grass, not worth it

I can explain these settings if you have any questions. First, these technologies work by converting surround sound to binaural audio - so you shouldn't have more than one at a time, cause then the input into the second one would be binaural already. Doing the process again at that point is really bad. 
 
With windows sonic for headphones, with the virtual 7.1 option checked, it will change the windows default format to 2 channel, 16 bit. The default format is what ultimately goes to the dac with applications that used shared rendering (most). Effectively, windows sonic should still work with media players, which should be able to output 7.1 regardless, and you can usually configure the mixer to just always output 7.1. And it should work with the few games which give you audio output channel options, like CSGO and TF2.
 
On the other hand, getting dolby headphone on asus sound cards is relatively simple, and compatibility is really good. You just go into the asus control panel, select 8 channels for audio channel, select headphone for analog output, and then tick dolby headphone and you can have room options as well to control amount of reverb.

Here's my build planning topic 
 I was trying to find an X99 motherboard that works out of the box NO bios update as I am not Linus and don't have a shelf of CPUs, is the one I chose good? PCPP review said it is, amazon review said it needs the update, which one is it?

your monitor is a 4k monitor and your ps4 output is 1080p, that is really dumb. and DP is use for 4k 60hz, ps4 really dont need that. 
 
To be honest , you bought the worst monitor for your ps4, its a TN panel so colors are washed out and viewing angle suck and its 4k with display port only or hdmi 24hz so even ps4 pro wont have DP to connect.  
 
you really should have bought  a 1080p 60hz 24'' ips monitor that will look 100x better than the cheap 4k you have

Running a 4k display at 1440p will look massively better than 1080p!!
 
Running at a non native resolution isn't always perfect though. Specially at 1440p as it's not equally divisible into 4k.
It's not a major issue. Some people say it's blurry and less responsive but I never had an issue.
I used to run games at 1440p when I first got my 4k monitor as I only had a GTX770!

well, emulating or not, im playing 4k utlra setting with msaa x4  with 60fps of smoothness. for the little that I've played because I was curious of this stats
