Samsung U28D590D

S65AMG

Looking for a 1440p monitor, I have an R9 370X but stumbled across a Samsung U28D590D 4K monitor for USD410. Any comments/suggestions/advice/? (I was looking at an Acer H257HU smidpx before this.)

Don't get a 4K monitor.

4K is such a gimmick these days, if you want to save a crap ton of money get a 1080p monitor as most cheap monitors are 1080p and they are decent quality.

If you want something a bit better than 1080p go for 1440p and the price difference isn't substantial.

Lol, 4K is just really expensive for people like me who are on tight budgets always.

it's not about the color, its about pixel density, ex: playing witcher 3 and you focus on far object, its gonna be pixeleted vs 4k that it's still gonna be crisp because it has more pixel to render that object.

and the samsung 4k is tn but 10bit, my friend had a ips and side by side, not much different,
