Some people can’t deal with the sound, if that’s one hung then it must be petheic If you get annoyed at little kids screaming at the top of their lungs. That’s how bad it is for people who don’t like chewing sounds,

That’s why a lot of YouTube vidoes with food or chewing noises will have a warning to say if you don’t like that sounds turn down the volume

Gruenbaum reacted to TechnoFou in Floatplane concept design
    Hey guys!

So I love designing things and I redesigned Floatplane for fun tell me what you think! There's some small descriptions explaining the different design choices and what is missing. This is mostly a fit & finish exploration and not an actual "ready-to-code" design.

So for the branding I went with something modern and simple. The perfect circle is uusable in any situation and represents the shape of a floatplane going forward. It is stylized but still recognizable. A design elements that I added is the frame/scafolding on the right. Floatplane is meant to be a a place for creators to be able to share to their communities, Floatplane gives them the frame to do that so the frame design represents this and supplements the design. The color palette is on the dark side because when you watch videos, you want to be immersed in the content with a slight tint of blue like the original color.

So here's the basic channel view. To feel immersed in the channel you're viewing, the creator could chose their color palette, image and so on. The goal is to clearly separate the site navigation and the zone for the creator to work in. It is their place, their colors, their content. Right now the left elements (title, description, etc.) are big, but once you're subscribed to someone they would be way smaller to make place for more content. The creator could share whatever they want in whatever format they want. Single videos, featured videos, per week, per month, per playlists or even share links and files if it is relevent to the community.

In this design here, we see a more "girly" oriented channel and how the design system can actually adapt. In this case, it's the back-to-school so the new back-to-schoool videos are featured in the top, but for relevancy, the older back-to-school videos are right under since it is that period. Of course, the side information is big, but this is just to show off the design and would be smaller if already subscribed.

The design is highly responsive. Not featured right now is the navigation that would be on the left under the title, but this is mostly a fit & finish exploration. The goal was to take a different approach of the classic top cover and navigation (like every other site out there) and just run with it.

    Have a great day everyone!

So I decided to make the move from console to PC (mostly just because I fancied a project.) The only issue was that it had to be inside a cupboard within my media cabinet.

I first went about finding a low profile case and opted for the Granadia GD09 - a great looking case
    ASUS z97 Pro Gamer motherboard
    i7 - 4790K Intel CPU @4.6
    32GB Hyper X Fury Ram DDR3 (2132Hz)
    GTX 1070
    250GB SSD
    1TB HDD

(A few of these are second hand - the hardrives for example)

    Lang DDC Pump
    Other watercooling components
Pastel liquid (has a bad rep but so far I really like it...ill update if it begins to cause any issues.)

I decided to make the move to overclock both the GPU and CPU, modestly, but within the low profile case it generated a lot of heat so at first I cut a rectangular hole in the top and mounted two fans to add to the air flow.

After getting carried away I decided to go ahead and water cool, although I know the benefits of this are always in debate I thought it would look awesome so I went and did it anyway (again, I just fancied a project.)

It was going to be a shame however to hide away water cooling within the case, which being low profile would probably have been impossible anyway, so I decided to make another hole in the lid,...

I have attached pictures of what this ended up like, I thought might be interesting as I used the cabinet itself to mount the watercooling rather than the case. A little bit different perhaps, if not a bit of a hack but then again, this is my first ever build so I can refine it.

Oh and I also just lined the cabinet with soundproofing foam to absorb a bit of the resonance on the wood as it had a bit of a hum about it.

P,s the motherboard used in the pictures was actually just a test board which was a broken mobo for me to fit the heat sink to - I connected the pump to a molex adaptor on the PSU and ran it for 24 hours as suggested to see if it leaked before connecting to the z97 and fitting in the case.

Luckily with the sound proofing foam the light isn't visible when the door is shut. My concern with the foam was the additional heat it might soak up but to be honest with the radiator fans pumping heat out of the cupboard even with the foam there is more circulation in there so it runs at a better temp overall.

Oh and also I pinned the tube drooping down from reservoir to the radiator to the top of the cupboard so it doesn't hang like that anymore.

Debit cards do not require an income. It is like a quick way to get money from your bank account without withdrawing cash from the account directly via atm or going to the physical bank location. You just need to have a bank account to have a debit card. Whether you have any money in your account is up to you!
