2 Gtx 960 2 GB vs 1 Gtx 1060 3/6 GB

Go to solution Solved by PRTI,

Better option would be a GTX 1060 as it is IIRC faster and has 6gb of VRAM which comes REALLY handy in modern gaming

And no you can't SLI the same card with a different amount of vram they have to have the same amount of vram

Title says it all, but I have one GTX 960, and I am wondering if I should buy a second one (and a new power supply.. and maybe more fans/ a nicer case?) or just get a 1060?

(looking at that it might be smarter to just get a 1060 and skip the new case and stuff)

Edit: does anyone know if its better to run a 4 GB and a 2 GB in SLI? Does that even work?
