I was pretty disappointed when Linus didn't get the plaque. Like many others I wanted to see that plaque go to a fitting person. Whether that be Riley, Julia, Jack, or some other person on the team. However, Linus was another good option considering he was obviously an instrumental part of the NCIX Youtube channel. I guess in the end Linus is just too nice of a person.
 
I've also been reading through the comments in the video, and I definitely don't agree that this MindChop creator deserves that plaque at all. Not having his own 100k plaque is not a good reason to take the plaque of another channel and using it as your own. To me that's not very ethical.

Honestly, based off the guy's reaction, body language, and gesture to let him buy it all point to him having 100% no clue who Linus was. If you look at his face after Linus said "Do you know who I am?", he was clearly confused and did not want to insult him with his response of "I probably watched your videos". Dude bro had no clue who Linus was or what NCIX was. I would bet that he was only there to get the play button for himself, seeing as many YouTubers have a hard time communicating with YouTube I think its safe to bet that this guy never received his Play Button and only wanted it for the re-branding of the glass.
 
Having said all that, I think it was a VERY kind gesture of Linus to give it to him. It angered me just as much as it did most folks to see Linus give it up. I (no joke) had a tear in my eye seeing him give it up, because NCIX was HIS channel, he built it and he deserved that Play Button. I do not approve of all the hate comments on that one guys channel because I believe he does not know who Linus is/was to NCIX. 
 
All in all, Props to you Linus... Once again you prove that you are a true gentleman and a genuine kind heart.

My Power Color R9 380 suffers from overheating if I overclock it further. Voltage is stock. Power limit is +20. Core clock is at 1064 and memory is at 1615. Temps hover in the high 80s during stress testing. It goes down to around 80 in games. 

Yes, that'll be a bottleneck. If you have a 290 you might want to think of upgrading to an i5 if you can

When I was looking for cameras to buy for photo and mostly video, I check online to see what the quality looks like. I watch sample video from Youtube. It's usually clear with little noise. When I get my camera and record video there's a lot of noise in it. I try to light the room up as much as I can with some effect, but nothing like in the videos. This has happened with two of my cameras and camcorders which are the Sony CX-240 and a Nikon L840. Do I have bad luck with cameras or is that quality all thanks to post production?

If you're set on the 960 then yes it should perform well enough to do as you say. The r9 380 is around the same price and performs better in most games. You should consider that as well.

Yeah, right now they're good for games like Robocraft, Minecraft (depending on your processor), Spiral knights, and a few other lighter and somewhat older games. and in my opinion they're good for that kind of gaming. Now if your playing Battlefront, GTA V, Watchdogs or anything graphically intensive performance takes a downwards plummet, Especially when it comes to gaming in 1080P. As long as i'm not getting microstutters, i'm happy. 
 
I just recommend that you use 8gigs of ram, instead of 4 gigs, it helps.

1 GB for modern games at good settings at 1080p is not enough. Some games yes, but I would get the upgrade. At least 2 GB for 1080p

A few things... What's your budget? "That I can afford" is not a budget to work with. I wouldn't get the r7 370 at all. Try the r9 380, and if you have somewhere in the 300 dollar range to spend then go for something like the 970 or AMD counterpart. You won't need a 980 or above for 1080p gaming as of now. Secondly, you should think about getting a monitor to game on. Also, all cards will be stable at the right overclock. The overclock varies from card to card and all will become unstable at some point. Finally, the best way to find out what to get is to look at the benchmarks for each card, compare them, and decide which one satisfies your needs.

According to the PSU and overclocking video Linus made, a CM V650 PSU was able to supply power to a OCed titan x and OCed 5960x. The tdp of you're build would be a bit higher than this setup with dual graphics and everything overclocked. A 650 should be able to handle it, but you really shouldn't try to squeeze just under the wattage of your power supply. If you have the money for it you should upgrade your power.\
