Best fan for a Hyper 212 Evo?

Firearm2112

I got a hyper 212 evo cooling a 4790k. I have no complaints with the cooler's performance. Keeps everything under 60 at load. However, the stock fan gets kinda loud under load.

Whats the best aftermarket fan for this cooler? Note, it has to be 120mm.

Thanks!

Just change the fan profile, if you run at a lower rpm the cpu might get hotter but it wont be very loud.

You can spend any amount of money on a fan, but running one at 900 rpm will never stack up to

the stock fan running at 1600 rpm in terms of performance.

Putting a 20$ fan on a 25$ cooler would be a bit strange.

Cougar Vortex can be had for about half that.
