kizoku_95 got a reaction from Mond1993 in Zotac 960 Amp
There is no fixed overclock setting that fits everyone and every scenario....you should try overclocking your card to the point where you are satisfied with the temps, acoustics and performance.
By the way I have a Asus GTX 960 Black OC and I have it overclocked to 1573MHz core and 2000 MHz memory from 1443Mhz core/1753Mhz memory and it is totally stable temp peaks at around 65C at 44% fan speed.

I've had bad luck with Zotac in the past so I would stay away from them personally, but it all comes down to who had better warranty in your area and what looks better in your PC.

Then get the GTX 960 4GB. 2GB versions are known to experience stuttering, even if full 2GB of VRAM isn't used.

Get a better quality power supply !
Since you are investing so much on X99, invest a little more on a quality PSU.

I'd support this actually.
EVGA 750w G2 would be a good choice.

kizoku_95 got a reaction from blackadder in New cpu cooler
Thermal paste is included in the box with the hyper 212 which should be sufficient for multiple uses and is good enough for a 4300

It's stupid to re-sell the same CPU for $30 more dollars?
Why didn't you buy the 8320 then?
-
kizoku_95 reacted to blackadder in New cpu cooler
please get it. one of the best $30 you can spend on your pc and you can always keep it for a upgrade.

Its not the soundcard as I recorded Minecraft and it was fine

kizoku_95 reacted to Enderman in Game audio not being recorded from ASUS Xonar DG sound card
In one of the tabs at the bottom (i think mixer, not too sure) there should be a screen with a bunch of sliders. One of them says 'record' and there are small boxes you can check to choose what it records. I can't really show you cause im not at home and I cant take a screenshot of it
EDIT - found an image on google

kizoku_95 reacted to officiallyasimulator in How hot can a PSU get ?
Most psus have a 40-45 degrees celcius operating temperature, so it theoretically should not go over that.
