Well you plan to get the cpu at the end of the year and the gpu in about a month, you'll still be stuck with a pentium and a high end card that will be bottle necked to shit for about 6 months. 11/10 plan IGN.

i5 4670K are the worst i7 4690K should be good for gaming for quite a while i7 4790K will last even longer than 4690K when it comes to playing games I can say right now that you should have asked around first before deciding on parts

IMO get the processor first then Gpu as the Pentium will still bottleneck the hell out of a 1070.

    even dumber?

you already have a 970.. wait longer? 970 is still a fucking amazing card
Just get cannonlake at september and save the money from your 1070 to get cannonlake

Ill rephrase that and add onto it for you as I can barley understand it.

*Now you may think that I will be talking about how terrible the G3258 is but you're wrong. I have this CPU for about a year now, and I have overclocked it to 5Ghz using a CoolerMaster Nepton 240M which cools it to 75c at 1.4v (which is a bad voltage). With that overclock while playing Planetside 2, I use 70% CPU and on ARMA 3 I use 95% CPU!

    Also I am getting either an i5 4570k  or an i5 4690k

Please explain to me why do you even have a G3258 paired with a 970, and then wanting to get a 1070 and a last gen i5?
I said earlier that you could get cannonlake, the next generation of Intel CPUs and forget the 1070 because the 970 still kicks ass.
Secondly, CPU usage doesn't mean jack shit. Lets say I have an pentium 4 and on Minecraft it uses 2% cpu usage just like you did, but it gets 0 fps as it crashes. What use is for that? Please provide FPS and graphic settings?
Also why did you need to post this?

Yeah, that thing can probably max out most games at 1080p. I think in the future you should upgrade to 16GBs of RAM though and get an SSD.

more vram does not make your game run faster

and about 60fps at 1080p sounds normal for ultra settings
    gtav is a demanding game
just turn some of the settings down

When you mean multi monitor setup do you mean something like Nvidia Surround/Eyefinity?
If so i wouldn't expect any single gpu to be able to do it with in a good amount of time under $650,

TBH I would wait for Pascal to see how much they cost and perform.

    - uncooked is what I heard most often, but it doesn't make a huge difference it seems.
