Core i3 6100 or FX-6300

Hello everyone. I would be building a pc in summer but one thing im bit unsure.

Should i go with fx-6300 or i3-6100. I would have already gtx-750ti and 8GB of ram and i would use the pc for gaming games like tf2, unturned and something else random and also i would be editing with windows movie maker my videos for youtube. Tell me would you get the fx-6300 or i3-6100.

Now both cpu's plusses(+) and minuses(-)

i3-6100

+faster technology helping in editing

+twice points for singlecore in Geekbench 3

-only 2 actual/physichal cores so can play games like gta v because hyperthreading

fx-6300

+6 cores so bit futureproof for newest games

-slower technology

In the future, avoid titles such as "Intel vs AMD" as they are not allowed per the Community Standards.

I would say the i3 would be far better;

+Most games (not ALL) are optimised for single core, i3 decimates anything AMD is offering in single core

+Efficiency; doesnt the FX6300 have about 150% the TDP of the i3?

+Board Technology; latest intel boards are coming with the latest tech such as DDR4, AMD is stagnant.

Unless you are going MEGA cheap (<US$400, where the intel dual core pentiums have the potential for compatibility issues) you should be avoiding AMD CPUs like the plague.

more cores is not the same as future-proof. Even if it has more cores, it is still much weaker. And old.

Thank you for help.

I think i very likely do get the intel cpu.

With the intel cpu, comes better ram and in here its like 1 euro cheaper than same ram in ddr3-1600. Also ony my skype friend said that the i3 would be good choise for upgrading in the future. I think i could maby get the i5-6600 or i5-6600k if im gonna overclock it.
