Any reason why not? I'm going to be building my computer with a MSI Geforce GTX 980ti and if it's not a good choice for a card it would be a good idea to change it before I buy it

I'm more of a desktop guy and know little about laptops but I was just wondering...
 
Objectively speaking what is the best gaming laptop on the market. I don't mean best for the money or price to performance. I mean what is the most powerful gaming laptop you can buy for any price.

And a few weird brands I've never heard of.
EVGA has 7 of them released including a fully water cooled one. ASUS has a very nice one out or coming out very soon and Zotac also has a very nice one I just prefer EVGA. Clean simple looks and can pack a big punch.

A5960x won't bottleneck anything.

Well, you were right about the performance.
But I don't like that you ignored the personal preferences of him. Things like the mouse, the amount of monitors and the case a mostly subjective.

Okay so just like I thought no one actually answered any of my questions.
 
First off, a few hundred dollars more for only slight improvement is not a factor for me.  I plan on using dual monitors and playing at very high fps so I want 2 980s.
 
I hate AMD GPUs so GTFO this thread nobody asked for your opinion.
 
Btw, I was pretty sure there was no 980 Ti I was just checking. But I know for a fact there are 8 GB models around the corner so could someone please answer my questions?

Not exactly what I had in mind

So I have been looking all over the internet for any 990s but i cant find them. Does anyone know where i can buy them. How much do they cost. I was planning on putting them in quad SLI because i want to be better than my annoying friend who has a 980.

First off, don't get the PB278Q as a secondary monitor. Huge waste of money. Even as a primary it's not a great choice. 
 
As a secondary monitor get a QNIX QX2710. To answer your other questions:
 
1.Two GTX 980 will be plenty for running an ROG Swift.
 
2. You will need to use DisplayPort to get full 144Hz on the Swift. However for the secondary 60Hz, DVI and HDMI will perform identical. Neither is better then the other but QNIX is DVI-only.
 
3. When in SLI both monitors need to be connected to one graphics card.
