the mamba IS rgb and has been for as long as I know

Probably didn't do it before because the Mamba is an all black snake. I can hear Steve Erwin's voice even now, "OOH, Its the deadly Black Mamba." He even noted that this was the deadliest snake in the world.

Is there a way to favorite threads? Because I would totally do that right now with this one... 

 

Anyway, a friend of mine has had a Mamba for a couple of years now, and I can confirm that it has, indeed been an RGB peripheral since the refresh in 2012, if not earlier. 

 

That would be why it is not a Chroma item, as Chroma is just Razer branding for "Hey look, our products do multiple colors just like every other RGB peripheral ever!"

 

I think BBC means Big Black Chimp...
