From how this has turned out and what you've told us so far, it seems to me that this girl clearly likes you. People (especially girls) don't use your lap as a mouse mat if they're not at least totally comfortable hanging around you. She very likely is interested in you, but prooooobably pretty apprehensive about progressing anywhere beyond a platonic friendship. Probably because she knows, either from experience or from observation, that romantic relationships that spark off at high school - and in that age group in general - go south very quickly 99% of the time. Speaking from what I've seen in the past, most couples in a high school age group break up within a couple of months, give or take a few weeks. Usually they break up because other than some similarities between their characters and physical attraction, they have little prior history with each other. She's probably worried that anything other than just being really close friends would ruin it for both of you because you haven't known each other for very long, or for some other reason.
 
So, here's what I would do: Keep in touch with her, keep hanging out with her as you normally would - you two are obviously comfortable, even very happy, when you're in each other's company. Don't push for an answer - if she asserts that she's ready for a more involved relationship, she'll let you know. If not, then that's okay too. That doesn't mean that it won't happen - it may just take more time.

I'd say that as someone who has spent a long time living alone, she's probably quite lonely and having you around might be quite an unusual thing. So make her feel comfortable in that situation. The best thing to do is to give her the occasional hug every now and then, especially if it looks like she's having a slow or bad day. Don't overdo it - even I know that too much hugging is annoying to humans... phillistines... keep it in moderation. But most of all, don't just act like you care about her - you need to make sure that you full well care about her when you listen to what she confides to you - you're her friend, she'll tell you about something sooner or later.

And be patient! Don't rush anything. Rushed romance just makes you hit the rocky bits harder and you'll puncture your metaphorical tyres. Maybe even rip a metaphorical fuel line. Then your VW Love Bus of Proverbialism will break down.

Greetings all. Hate for this to be my first post, but here it goes.
 
After my 840 PRO 256GB SSD died on me yesterday, I sought RMA service. I registered the product with the Samsung website, but oddly enough, my warranty service was listed as "null". Strange.
 
I called them for service this morning and was informed that Samsung did not issue direct RMA service for the drives, and I quote, "that I would have to contact the retailer for service." As such, thanks to the folks over at Tiger Direct being long gone from the retail game, I'm shit out of luck. They're B2B service isn't helping me either.
 
I contacted Samsung for further advice, and said there was nothing they could do. At first, the customer support agent directed me to Seagate for service, thinking the SSD division had been sold along with the HDD division, but no such luck.
 
The *only* option that might work is to go through their US-only RMA service, which apparently costs a fortune in duty fees, and might not even be honoured thanks to their rather strict policy regarding RMA replacement.
 
While I certainly have nothing but good things to say about the reliability and performance of Samsung drives, their lack of service on their otherwise "impressive warranties" is laughably bad.
 
Needless to say, I'm sounding off on any and all Canadian hardware forums that will heed my warning. I've been in the PC repair business on and off for 15 years, and in all my time dealing with the RMA process, with over 50 different manufacturers ranging all the way from XFX PSUs to Corsair gaming peripherals to Hynix ECC RAM, never have I encountered such terrible service.
 
And just for the record, even if your local retailer is still standing, you'll need a receipt for service. As many of you might know, Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA, Sapphire, Powercolor, ECS, Biostar, Micron, Zotac, Corsair, Acer...none of these companies require buyers to keep physical receipts. Hell - paper receipts don't even _last_ more than 3 months in a wallet. I don't know how anyone can expect us to keep them for upward of 10 fucking years.
 
Anyhow, that's my story, and I hope word spreads so someone at Samsung can do something about it. Otherwise, they're just screwing people out of a service that we're entitled to by purchasing their product.

Ok, soooo. There was this woman who I had been friends with for about 6 years,(note: she lived very far away) from the get go I had a crush on her, then we kinda had a dark spot about a year in when we would stop talking to each other and I had no idea what happened or what I did. I felt bad because I never got to tell her how I actually feel. Then time passes, she comes back and we start talking and stuff again. Eventually I go to visit her ask her out to dinner and a movie. While out on dinner I couldn't hold myself together and I just lean over the table and giver her a light kiss. After a moment of pure awkwardness she comes over the table and kisses me. Then .... Then.... I woke up ;(
