Yeah im gonna let this end during the night i have other sticks of RAM too so i may try them if i see that this ones are bad. Tomorrow after work i will try that thanks for the help.
Btw the BSOD are completely random there is no pattern at all, actually i dont think it has ever crashed during a game only when browsing the web, even when no one is using the computer it can crash.

Well after installing the most recent drivers and finding out that the "server" was on power saving mode it is finally saturating the 1Gb thanks for the help.
Now just need to wait for the RPi4 and see if i can make it reach 1Gb.

You wouldn’t need that much fluid and it can be done but more effectively you would just have the tank itself passive radiate the heat out to the surrounding air.

There was a post a while back where this was tested, the temps would very slowly climb until it reach equilibrium and all the fluid was at running temp.

I remember a guy on another forum probably about 12 years ago that cooled his pic with a coil out of about 30 feet of copper pipe and buried down about  6 or 8 feet in the ground.  at that depth it is near constant temperature year round, and he said it worked great.  The exposed lines might freeze in a cold environment though.

This would have been a perfect experiment back when whole room water cooling was a thing

Bury them outside underground and pipe them back inside.  Instant sub ambient cooling.  Geothermal for pc!

While @Bananasplit_00 is right thatwithout sufficient surface area for radiating of the heat, a thousand liters of water will take a very longtime to heat up. and the area of such a large reservoir will likely be sufficient anyway

Get a Ryzen 5 1600 instead of the 1500X. Both the 1500X and the 1600 are better than i5s though

i5 has higher single core speeds but lacks for games that run multi-core.
I'd say ryzen is the better deal, but if you can get a used i5 CPU - it could be competitive.

You could wait for 8th gen i5s but those will cost over $250 for sure.

r5 all the way.  the 1600 is a great cpu, better than most if not all i5s, and the 1500x will save you a few bucks

batatas got a reaction from DocSwag in Do you agree with nVidia's GPU pricing... - IT HAS DOUBLED!
I think the problem is that AMD right now dont have nothing that can compete with the high end Nvidea gpus so they take advantage of that after all if i need a graphics card with the power of a gtx 1080 what can  buy? AMD dont have nothing that can compete with the 1080 so its like a monopoly the high end stuff right now is a monopoly owned by Nvidea so if i need that power i will spend more because Nvidea can bump prices up because they are the only ones with gpus that are that powerfull.
We just need AMD to step up their game and we would be good.

    Phil Schiller's response is a "half-explanation"

"We couldn't because the Skylake CPU memory controller we're using doesn't support more than 16GB of LPDDR3..." - he left off the part after that that goes "... and while we could have easily added a a slightly bigger battery to counter the effects of using DDR4, we thought it was more important for our professional line of notebooks to be super super thin than for them to have the hardware specs that power users demand"

Apple could have easily offered a "professional" laptop with support for 32GB of RAM. They just didn't think it was as important to their users as size and weight.

Edit: And if the sales numbers are anything to go by, they were evidently 100% correct. But I don't have to agree with it.

So, bottom line - could we have done a better job of this video? Yes. We outright missed the detail that Skylake's memory controller is limited to 16GB if you're using LPDDR3, and Phil Schiller's statement hadn't come out yet at the time we wrote/shot this video.

Furthermore, I'm not aware of any swappable LPDDR3 modules, so YES we were stuck with a non-ideal apples to oranges comparison.

But it DOESN'T change the reason we were upset, or the fundamental disagreement we have with Apple's obsession with thin at the cost of better usability and performance. Our conclusion - they did it for space savings - is still correct even if we arrived there without a key piece of the puzzle.

Well depends there are 2.5 HDD and the regular 3.5 ones that we use in desktop pcs normally, the 2.5 is the size of a normal ssd, but it is possible to make them even smaller if you use a pci ssd and make it into an external drive.
