Why not R5 1600

So im building a mini itx gaming pc but i dont know what to choose because now amd have really nice processors, but how do they perform in聽games?

I can only spend 200 bucks on the processor and my country what i can get for that price is the i5 7500 or the r5 1500x so what should i choose?

The computer will only be used for gaming not any kind of video editing or anything like that.

1500X could be better bang for your buck.

You could wait for 8th gen i5s but those will cost over $250 for sure.

r5 all the way. 聽the 1600 is a great cpu, better than most if not all i5s, and the 1500x will save you a few bucks

i5 has higher single core speeds but lacks for games that run multi-core.

I'd say ryzen is the better deal, but if you can get a used i5 CPU - it could be competitive.

Get a Ryzen 5 1600 instead of the 1500X. Both the 1500X and the 1600 are better than i5s though :D

Ok guys it seems you all think the 1600 is the best choice so that is what i will try to get is a little bit over 200聽in my country but i will try get it thank you all for the help guys.
