the 6400 is fine for gaming
it's still a nice little 3ghz 4c 4t skylake, it's not a 2c 4t celery, GPU first and then CPU

you do not need to update your BIOS because the motherboard already supports 7th gen intel (200 series supports 7th gen, 100 series supports 6th gen by default, and 7th gen with a update)
 
just chuck it in I guess, the only worthy upgrades imo are the 6700k and the 7700k, but I would go for a GPU upgrade first since you do a lot of gaming 

Covering them with opaque tape would do it, best solution I have for doing it without disassembly

I second bunsenlabs, its a great os. If you wanted windows, try windows xp embedded.

Usually when i want to plug things into my laptop I choose one with ports to being with just sayin

I can't take them on the plane you know, i am planning to take my psu, rams, cooler. I can sell my other parts for 700 usd in my country and buy new parts 

4k is nice but a 1440p monitor around 27" would give you good pixel density and would be a lot easier to run. The guy who said 1080p is similar to 1440p was way off base. There is a very big difference.

You can't. Windows only picks them up as their resolution, not the physical size. As far as I know, you cannot change this manually.

novideo chipsets are scary since I use loonix on that laptop, but anything is better than GMA 950

I had a T5600 inside of a Lenovo 3000 N100
I regret not buying the T7600 two years earlier, because that was my main laptop for a while before I got my T480 and T5600 barely chugged along running firefox quantum 
i945 is painful, 3GB of maximum addressable ram with a 64bit CPU... 

1) you don't need to spend $80 to get a good battery back
 
2) if you need to finance in order to afford an $80 product then you definitely should not be buying $80 battery banks
 
3) there already are tech stores that offer financing for people who make horrible financial decisions
 
4) if you don't have a phone charger then ask someone who does, or use one of those free charging stations in public places which cost $0.

air cooling is going to be quieter (pump noise is a thing), but water cooling can cool down your CPU more than air cooling
you don't need to go water cooling with your i9, but it helps with thermals if you are overclocking, which you're not so..
 
any reason why you are going with i9 and not threadripper?

if you're using private mode, I'm pretty sure that clears out all of your cookies when safari gets unloaded
I've seen a couple of people use private mode over regular mode for some reason for regular browsing..
