You know, Nvidia/AMD and graphics card manufacture can just all boost manufacturing allowing both gamer and miners to get their cards. Why would one say no to money?

And why exactly should AMD and Nvidia tell a large majority of buyers/potential buyers to fuck off? 

This is a very close minded argument. I dont know why a group of individuals should be punished that hard for doing something they believe could make them money just because it makes it harder for us gamers to get a GTX1060 or RX 580. What they're doing is completely legal and there is no malicious intent to starve us of GPU's. It sucks but be an adult and

Only benefit of that resolution is VR. It will make a difference if anyone uses it for VR. But for everyone else who doesn't use it for VR. Yeah probably won't.

I'm actually impressed with their pricing. For someone who doesn't know how or doesn't feel safe doing it. This is definitely the way to go. I just enjoy building my own to much. lol. No matter the cost.

Sounds dumb, but have you plugged your video cable into the RX 480 and not the IGPU?

The game is not well optimized at all and on top of that its been in ALPHA status for 3 years now  "render distance" effects performance greatly, so keep it at 1500 max.

becase having VR means that every other game dev and hardware devs have stopped developing stuff that doesn't revolve around VR?

You guys rant about Nvidia and Intel racking up prices of their flagship products. You rant about how they're out to hurt the consumer and how AMD is our lord and savior who shall descend from the heavens with their almighty Ryzen and Vega and purge the land of the pcmasterrace of the high prices inflicted by the demons Nvidia and Intel.
 
You tell a story of how the demon Nvidia came and forced upon the developers of your games the sin of Gimpworks, which was their tool to increase their market share and thus purge the lands of Saint AMD. They used it to become the evil ruler of the land of the pcmasterrace and use it to control the minds of the new citizens of the Pcmasterrace. Phew, I could write a novel about that!
 
But you guys don't understand. The reason Intel and Nvidia are racking up prices on their flagships is because of AMD. Because AMD decided to get out of the flagship single GPU market, Nvidia was allowed to rack up the prices of their flagships. Because AMD decided Bulldozer would be the future, Intel was allowed to rack up the prices of their flagships.
 
Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I want AMD to remain as the underdog forever and let Intel and Nvidia remain king forever. I'm saying for you guys to stop hating on Nvidia and Intel because if AMD was in their situation, they would do the exact same thing. It's standard business practice. No competition? Raise prices to increase profits!
 
So guys. Stop hating on Nvidia and Intel. I'm not saying stop rooting for AMD. We need the competition. It benefits us. But there is not reason to hate on Nvidia and Intel, especially since it really is AMD's fault we're in this mess.

Here's an analogy to what you're doing:
 
               You say that the LG G5 is better than the HTC 10. I ask you why.
               You reply, " LG was founded 40 years before HTC, therefore the LG G5 is better than the HTC 10."
 
How the hell does that make any sense? Just because a company is older than some other company doesn't mean its products are better. Just because a company is working on a wider range of products doesn't necessarily mean it's products are worse.
 
Please back up your statement. Tell me what Nvidia features are better than AMD. Please don't tell me why Nvidia might have better features than AMD. That's not what I'm asking.

Umm.... I have a 2560x1080p LG 29 inch. And don't have any of the problems you mention in Battlefield 1. And in fact most if not all new games do support the 21:9 resolution without stretching. Older games on the other hand are hit and miss. I've owned 2 of these 21:9 monitors for over 2 years now. And own quite a few different games to try them on.
 
Keep in mind though when you start screwing with the FOV settings in BF1 or Battlefront it will begin to fish eye. But that would happen on a regular monitor as well. So you have to find the sweet spot.

So tempting. I just forked out the money for a 960 SSD, but Samsung has become a really difficult company to support. I'm sure it's a great product, but their website and overall back and forth has been a serious nightmare. I just sent them a cancellation. If I hear back from them tomorrow then I'll definitely pick this up.
