So wait, not only are they trying to bribe people for votes by offering to add content, but they want votes for content they haven't even added yet?

They want people to vote for "Best Use of a Farm Animal", and promise to add a Sheep to the game if they win. Meaning the content you are supposedly voting for, isn't even in the game, and won't actually be added unless they win.

I'm happy that the community gave them enough backlash for them to back pedal. But Ark did not even acknowledge what they did. What worse is they did get a nomination too. I would like steam to remove that since, really, Ark did not earn that in earnest IMO. I hope other devs wont think maybe they can get away with it.

these people are probably one or all of the following type of people:

the ones who didnt get 7 PS4 Pros for christmas (AKA entitled children)

the ones who take PCMR Seriously

the ones who somehow think they will get money out complaining 

and those who can not take a joke

I think its more a issue of If you let one dev get away with this then how long until it escalates? We dont need features held at ransom, especially if it artificially boosts the games recognition.

i thought  that steam awards we're just a little fun game they did for the sales event like they did in previous events like that noir comic during last christmas or that clicker game during summer.

Instead of making it cross platform and thousands of DLCs, first make the game run at 60FPS on a 6800K and 980ti. RUNS LIKE GARBAGE
