Actually I'd say a pre-built is a better idea for such a new CPU and mobo. Any issues that may happen are on them - not you. No need to wait for lengthy RMAs.

CPU R7 1700    Motherboard Asus Prime X370 Pro  RAM  24GB Corsair LPX 3000 (at 2933Mhz)    GPU EVGA GTX1070 SC  Case Phanteks Enthoo Pro M

Storage 1 x 1TB m.2, 1x 500GB SSD, 1x 1TB HDD, 1x 8TB HDD  PSU Corsair RM1000  Cooling Thermalright Macho Rev B (tower)

Synology NAS 1 x 4TB 1 x 8TB

This is actually a very good deal. In terms of value alone. Now that it's $1240, you save $150. If it was $1106 like OP says, you'd save almost $300.

@deXxterlab97- even in terms of value, here it is against a near-identical configuration. Then there's what @FIXXX said and was completely correct about.

I'm actually impressed with their pricing. For someone who doesn't know how or doesn't feel safe doing it. This is definitely the way to go. I just enjoy building my own to much. lol. No matter the cost.
