EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

I don't believe that the Chroma is worth it. I like Razer, but it just seems a bit ridiculous for a simple keyboard. Corsair's RGB is one of the only current RGB keyboards I can recommend, and even those are a bit pricey. However, if the Chroma matches your setup very well, it may be worth it in the end to buy it. Not having a matching keyboard would drive me crazy. 
 
 
This is a great guide to the switches. If you're curious, the Razer Green switches are most similar to the Cherry MX Blue switches, and the Razer Orange switches are most similar to the Chery MX Brown switches. A huge huge HUGE thing to note here- the actuation vs. reset point (the point where the keystroke is registered versus when the key is ready to be actuated again) on the Razer Orange is 0.05mm (near instant reset), while the Razer Green is 0.4mm (there is some distance between reset and actuation). This is a huuuge difference in the world of keyboards, so if you get the Chroma, choose your switch wisely. 
 
Now, on the note of mouse pads, DO NOT get something super cheap. They will feel decent, but within just a few months they will be trashed, and you will need to buy a new one. Thing is, cheap mouse pads will warp, stretch, and wear thin very fast.

OP has the best gaming mentality. Do it for fun and relaxation.  Its good to see someone from the younger generation so intelligent and not take games seriously.  If you start taking things to seriously it becomes a job or chore. You shouldn't play games like that.

Thanks! Yeah I think the CF goes well with the build. There are a few things inside the case that are now CF also. I will get some pics up soon.

You had my eyes glued to the screen from the moment I saw the carbon fiber front panel. That will really bring the build together.

I don't believe there is backlighting, but this is probably your best option if you are looking for build quality as well.
