Could get that and make the tray from some thickish aluminium/acrylic, tap holes for standoffs? Not sure if you're in NA or Europe

Hey guys! I'm sorry to not responding earlier... Thanks a lot for the great comments, it's really appreciated! So recently I decided to transfert my main rig in the case! But I need to improve some things to fit it.  I designed new plate to route the cables better than before and another one to hide the top section like few of you suggested to me! I will also use only 2 SSD in the build so it will look soo much cleaner without the HDD cage. Keep in mind that I want to preserve the original look of the case. So I will keep the finish of the plates raw.

So here is the pictures!

This is before! I realize that the place of the cable was very wrong.

xD The new routing will be WAYYY BETTER!

The plates arrived from the lasercut! :D

The logo is gorgeous. You could probably make money offering a service to make those for people.

Thanks all! Yes I put a lot of effort in this. xD

i cant wait for the finished pictures and i think that the case would look better with a window

I want to keep the case as original as possible so I will not put a windows. :P I have never been a fan of windows anyway. ;)

Haha probably but I am mediocre in business. :P The mod is also not friendly user... it would hard to sell without having problem after. xD

You are talking about my nickname, I supose? Well, lol... it's more scientific than you think.  lol But at first the name comes from a song of one of my favorite band and I loved the way it sounds. Nothing to do with the signification.  :P I am continuing to take it on forums because I'm sure nobody will take it. haha

Hi guys!  I just finished to build the rig! I am satisfied with the result considering the means I had. I encountered few problems during the build process but these will help me to build THE perfect mATX conversion Version 3 if I do in the future!

Hi Scatology,

I recently started my own g5 mod and I'm very inspired by your build, I was wondering if you could share the files to hide the PSU and optical drive? And how did you attach those plates to hide the PSU and optical drive?

Awesome mod.

Hey Hi! Sadly I don't have the files anymore but it was a pretty simple drawing. The plate was attached by two spacers directly threaded in the optical drive. The plate's holes were directly aligned with the optical drive's holes. The spacers were approximately 3/4" in height. I really don't remember where those spacers came from... You can see the spacers on this picture:

Beisde the optical drive that I spray painted really poorly, I sent the other parts to a powder coating shop around here.
