Wait for 4K or go For 1440P?

Should I wait for 4K to be more affordable or just go for 1440P?

 

How long do you guys think until we can max out 4K games with $400-500 dollar cards?

Wait for 4K to be easier to drive and for monitor prices to drop

 

I hope that something like GTX 1170 can max out 4k games.

to max out 4k games we'll have to wait like 3-4 years with a 400$ card, look at how many cards can really max out 1080p, then look when 1080p became the standard ^^

id say go for 1440p, 4K is just not worth it at all... it has many issues such as UI & Text scaling thats not been fixed.

i would stick to 1440p, honestly when youre gaming youre obviously not paying attention to every little pixel and the games and images are still going to look fucking fantastic anyway, to me, the price and power needed to drive 4k (although it has gotten much better) is still not really worth it over a quality 1440p monitor :)\

 

although 4k has become more realistic (and it became more common VERY quickly) its still not meant for everyone and i think 1440p is more than enough

just go for ultrawidem 1440p if you want a monitor i find tt better than 4K

4K but if you wait 6 months or 12 you may get a good IPS 4K high end start at £600+ shit panel 4K's start at £239 (Dell) source OverclockersUK. I want to get a 390X and 4K but may hold off until 4K they release the good ones :)
