I was like TEN DOLLARS?

And than it was 100.

Very disappointing, but a good deal though.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

I would totally buy this...if it wasn't 100 dollars up front and then wait forever for a rebate.

No, there are tons of deals like this on TD

At some point there was a deal where you could get the OCZ ARC 100 240GB for $25 with some $90 rebate after using Mcafee for a year or so.

Using McAffee for a year? hahahahah, that's the punishment to get the rebate

It doesn't have to be punishment.

Buy it for a computer you don't use.

install mcafee.

schedule computer to turn on occasionally so mcaffee auto updates.

schedule main computer to remind you to cancel mcafee auto renewal after rebate period.

get rebate.

I would do it if they actually charged you the RRP of the product.

Like If I could buy the 256GB 850 Pro for the RRP of $150-$160 with mcafee and get a $100 rebate ten months later I'd do it.

The problem is that they usually mark up the initial product cost by like $40-$50, since you're also paying for mcafee, and then cover that cost in the rebate.

Like that ram stick, it only costs $63.

If I could pay the same $63 install mcafee for 10 months and get the ram free I would.

But paying nearly double the RRP for a lower final cost isn't worth it to me.
