Please enlighten me, what does 'chill' mean when utilized in the context pertaining to people?

 

This thread achieved three distinct things for me:

  1. Made me feel very old by not understanding this connotation.
  2. Made me feel nauseous due to the sadness level.
  3. Made me regret the approximate 2.2 minutes of my lifetime that I wasted on writing this reply.
