Redoing my system!

jtai117

So! Originally I had my system in a Bitfenix Prodigy M with a nice blue LED fan on the bottom giving my case a nice under glow. But since the Z87 boards were going for cheap, I decided to pick up a prettier motherboard and at the same time, I decided to ditch the Prodigy and go for something a bit more elegant that could show off my system. Also thanks to @Marcus_UK and his LEDs, my components can be seen when there's low light. In the (near) future, I plan to stealth the CD drive to keep the sleek front and replace the Coolermaster Hyper 212X for a 240mm AIO liquid cooler of some kind (either Corsair H100i or the Raijintek Triton unless there's a better option). So without further ado, I present to you my system!
@Cokeman I think I told you that I'd send you images of my system when I'm done with it, so here it is haha

Just updated the OP, it's an i5 4670k OCed to 4.0GHz. I can push it to 4.2 with that cooler but hopefully with an AIO, I can push it more =)

Very nice and clean.

I love seeing builds with my LEDs, most customers never take a picture, so I never see the outcome :(   so thank you :D

The lighting is super even man. Really glad that I bought 2. It could maybe use 1 more but I think it looks fine the way it is

Love it! 2nd to last picture is genius! tucking the SATA inside the 24 pin to cover it just brilliant!

Haha thanks man! Yeah, hiding that SATA cable was totally intentional  hehe.

You will want to move the DIMM on the right to the next slot over so it will run in dual channel. Other than that nice clean build.

There's a problem with my mobo, ram slots 3 and 4 aren't good. I'll be sending it in for RMA next week

ahh right, fair enough.

Yeah, if I put ram in either slot 3 or 4, the system won't post. doesn't matter if it's 1 or 2 channels

So I bought 2 strips, put one on the back and one on the top. Just be wary with the one on the back as if you put the strip too high or too low then the thumbscrews for the side panel will push the strip and make it not sit nicely on the case.

You got ballz to redo an entire system.

Ha, it was easy man. Just took a little time to reconfig Win8.1

pretty nice specs

Thanks! Gonna be buying a Corsair H100i soon. I also added a second SSD. Bought a 250GB Intel 730
