Corsair H55 vs H80i vs H100i?

I plan to outfit my computer with Corsair Link, and would want a new CPU cooler. I am currently using a Hyper 212 with a Corsair SP fan on an i5-4670k, and I would like to be a little cooler. I also (if you know me) have an H55 on my GPU, that I plan to replace as soon as I can budget out a 970 or wait long enough for a 960. So how much of an improvement would an H80i be over my current EVO, or even the H55 (Pump is a little loud, looking to get rid of it). Also, how much more performance would an H100i bring? It will not fit properly in my case because it would hit the RAM slots, unless its actually really thin. (Corsair 230t case).

So my options:

1. Keep the EVO

2. Get an H80i

3. Get an H100i and new case, was looking at the 450D for a long time and was waiting for it to go on sale. If I get a new case, the old one would be sold.

The H80 and H55 barely perform as good as a decent air cooler

the H100i is a much better performer

Thats my current problem, I can't fit it in the case without having the mount the fans on the top outside the case. I guess I will wait a few days to see if the case I want goes on sale, and the 100i stays on sale.

Guys, it's a 1st gen Haswell i5. That TIM won't allow for power consumption higher than the H80i can handle. There is absolutely no point in putting a H100i on a unmodded 4670K.

Is that right? I know the 4690k is better for overclocking, currently I am able to get a 4.5GHz overclock at 1.3 Vcore at ~30C idle, ~35-40C normal load, ~55-60C gaming load, and 70C synthetic load.

What exactly is the problem if you're getting those temps? (which i take with a grain of salt and add a few degrees to)

H100I cools great, I get 25 degrees-ish with chrome and other basic programs, and while using integrated gfx on my i7 I go up to 50-ish. But this thing is NOISY, so if you like quiet don't even bother!

I got a H100i, but i physically could not make it fit. My shop which does not return liquid coolers under any circumstances were kind enough to take it back when i showed up again 30 minutes later.

I got an H80i and mounted it push pull with x2 nf-f12s, and i idle around room temp, and hit 40-45 MAX in game.

There are some better 140mm rads for the price AFAIK, but I'm happy to hear you're pleased with your purchase :) Game on!

Stick with the EVO for now. The performance gains of an H55 or H80i are just not worth it. The H100i is a product to be avoided because of its numerous problems. It has a very bad mounting problem, and is not guaranteed to work for everyone out of the box without modifications. It has a very loud pump, and corsair link is a buggy mess, best to.never use or install it. Not to mention, it won't fit in your case.

The first upgrade you should make is a new chassis. I highly recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Pro. Later, if you really want lower temperatures, you can look into an AIO. The Cooler Master Seidon 240M, Cooler Master Nepton 240M/280L are excellent options as well. Also the Corsair H105, and NZXT X61.

I was looking to get the new corsair link software, and being able to control the pump noise would be great.

Its a buggy mess.  Avoid it.  Pump noise you cannot be changed with Corsair AIOs, they run off of SATA power, so they run at a constant speed.  If you want to control your pump speed, you can buy a different AIO and plug the 3pin pump header into your motherboard and control it from there.
