Any tips or changes for my build?

Looks pretty solid to me except I would grab a 980 instead, sli if you can, for the 4k gaming.

Looks good. Like OhhTee mentioned, try to see if you can squeeze out the money for a 980, since that will do a lot better with 4k and even better if you can sli it later. Happy building.

The OS can be acquired from g2a.com (legitimate site)

If you want to game at 4K, then i suggest getting a 2nd 970.

If you're not building the system until Christmas, don't bother checking out parts now. Prices will change, deals will come up, and you'll likely end up with a very different list.

As a rough outline, it's pretty good, but as others have said if you want to game at 4k and have a really nice experience you're going to need another video card. We're not yet at the point where 1 card 4k is viable. With Pascal that will likely change.

I'm planning on building my first PC this Christmas and i would us it for Max 1080p and 4k gaming with video steaming and video editing and rendering. I think i have a nice build I just would like some use full advice.

I've heard the H105 will not fit the R4. If it does, generally will need to use mesh holes and it may be crooked, unless you feel like using washers and drilling you own holes. I would look into this a bit more just in case.

I have a friend with an H100 and it BARELY fits. I think he ended up drilling new holes too.

My advice is to spend smart. GTX 980, but this build is not more expensive than your original plan.
