1 Million subscribers giveaway redraw

Update: Nevermind apparently active members only qualified for the Laptop, however since the other two accounts are inactive it is very likely there will be a redraw

 

edit: unfortunately everyone qualifies for the redraw, meaning it will be the xTH redraw by the time they actually get an active member. :( 

 

Hey Guys so after not being able to draw winners on the WAN show the giveaway thread has been updated. To my knowledge I believe Linus has stated on the WAN that only active members of the LTT community would qualify. After looking at the winners 2/3 do not qualify to win - 

They should do a redraw with a new thread, where "active" members being allowed to enter only. More than half the original 1 million thread's entries are 1 post accounts, so doing random.org/trying to deem an "active" member as a winner with almost entire pages being full of 1 post account entries is to of a cumbersome method imo.

how do you define a contributing member? 2 of my post were in the Wan show, does that count?

a contributing person is someone who gives useful and valuable information, and is helping lots of people! with a vast amount of knowledge :P

I'm not sure I think everyone who goes on here every day/every couple days and isn't being mean is considered a "contributing" member.  Unfortunately if there is a redraw everyone qualifies including the 1 post accouts :(. The "active" member prize has already been claimed.

I think it means helping people and  being nice to nice people and being all around positive. As we know how the certain for the time being unnamed individuals can be.

Fedeger is active, he logged on yesterday so I think he is aware that he won. Unlike MyMouseGoesVROOM he hasn't been on since September 11. So I think there might still be a chance for the pc
