I run an MSI board  at work. I've owned ASUS,GIGBYTE too. Nothing seems to hold well to my overclocks or usage. ASROCK seems to be stable and more importantly "reliable" for me.

I had anti-static stuff on ankles and wrists. I also put down a mat to work on.
