GTX 780ti *MAY* outperform GTX 980

Ollyz_a_Ninja

So the new GTX 980 *MAY* be outperformed by current GTX 780ti gpus' but the newer cards are looking like they may feature more video ram, so it'll be nice to finally find out how the GTX 980 performs at higher resolutions and in games that require the extra ram for textures (see watchdogs) and such.

"Great articles"? They're just posting speculation after speculation.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

Then what would be the point. would it perform the same as a 780?

Also, it's 880. Going from 7 to 9 does nothing but create confusion. Don't feed rumors >:(

192TU's, and 40 rops... if not what you just said.

They just want clicks.

Nvidia doesn't even have to try hard AT ALL to make this chip faster than a 780ti!

You know, I heard from the tuna fabricators that they wont have the new improved tuna with even finer pieces ready for at least another 4 months...

Ah damn! I'm sure it will be worth the wait to upgrade from the current line of tuna product. Lets hope it doesn't get delayed though.

They were referring to it's price. How would they let their flagship Maxwell card not outperform their flagship Kepler?
