But all brands?

Only nVidia can manufacture the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), the partners or "brands" as you put it, EVGA, MSi, Zotac and so on only provides the other components like coolers, PCB and memory.

So if nVidia says they are not manufacturing any more 1080 Ti GPU there simply is nowhere else for these brands to get it to make the cards.

Hi Guys,

I came over this article on forbes and some other sites.
Many people claim that 1080Ti will be no longer produced. Is this legit? Does it mean all 1080ti from all brands or just the one from Nvidia?

In poland i can hardly find any leftovers of those gpus.

thats only new gpu's , there will still exist all the ones that were already made and considering i can still find a used voodoo2 i'm sure you will still be able to buy a 1080ti for at least the next 20 years before they actually become scarce.

Sorry for potato question, but i wanted to understand this. Looking from the perspective that there are hardly any  gpu's to buy in poland .
Or maybe its just poland that is a potato country

The 1080ti chip, which is only supplied from Nvidia.. is out of production, and has been.. if AIB Partners have chips, thats on them.. but the actual physical GPU DIE, made by Nvidia.. is no longer in production.

That is correct. Board partners will not be getting any more 1080 Ti GPUs from NVIDIA, with production now centered around the Turing GPU variants.Once AIB partners have manufactured their cards with the current stock, that's it.
