What's the worst advertising you've ever seen for some gamer thing?

I was browsing some old digital media I made and I found something that reminded me about how out of touch my dad was about tech stuff (can't blame the guy, his expertise lies elsewhere). He gave me the idea for a really weird slogan to use for my PC company so of course I thought it was so funny and nonsensical that I actually made a banner for it.

I don't know if it really applies but Sony is absolute bonkers when it comes to creepy/bizarre adverts relating to gaming, the first i can remember is the PS1's "alien girl":

@Chevy_Monsenhor I wouldn't say those Sony ads are bad (they made worse), they're creepy and weird though!

In related news, I recently got a little paperslip in the mail about a class-action lawsuit against Monster for related bullshittery.

 

HDMI has always had loads of companies making completely bogus claims akin to reading a homeopathy brocure. I've always wondered why it's such a magnet for these claims, moreso than pretty much everything else in the tech sector really.
