60 v 144 hz

Mugenjynn

Will you see a difference? Sure. Will it do anything for you? Not really. To put it bluntly, if you suck at the game, no amount of high-end equipment is going to change that.

1440p really helps me spot targets at range in the games I play.

This is about the only reason why I would suggest higher resolution monitors, even 4K at higher PPI. More pixels = more samples to see that tiny object in the distance.

Biggest screen I have watched in 4K was 150 inch and I still can not see a difference when compared to 1080p. You will need a seriously big screen for the pixels to get visible even on 1080p . So thinking you can see a difference on a computer monitor and the sizes they are today is rather silly.

Sure...

For viewing still images.

If you have a really good monitor that actually looks good, then refresh rate isn't a problem as long as you will consistently push 60 or more fps.
