Posted January 6, 2014 So, after much waiting and guessing, it looks like we're getting Gsync on a 1440p panel in Q2 after all. ...at least I assume that's what the 25x14 would mean, given the other one is 19x10. http://www.polygon.com/2014/1/6/5278696/nvidias-g-sync-monitor-module-coming-q2-2014 CPU: Ryzen 9 5900 Cooler: EVGA CLC280 Motherboard: Gigabyte B550i Pro AX RAM: Kingston Hyper X 32GB 3200mhz Storage: WD 750 SE 500GB, WD 730 SE 1TB GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 Ti PSU: Corsair SF750 Case: Streacom DA2 Monitor: LG 27GL83B Mouse: Razer Basilisk V2 Keyboard: G.Skill KM780 Cherry MX Red Speakers: Mackie CR5BT MiniPC - Sold for $100 Profit Spoiler CPU: Intel i3 4160 Cooler: Integrated Motherboard: Integrated RAM: G.Skill RipJaws 16GB DDR3 Storage: Transcend MSA370 128GB GPU: Intel 4400 Graphics PSU: Integrated Case: Shuttle XPC Slim Monitor: LG 29WK500 Mouse: G.Skill MX780 Keyboard: G.Skill KM780 Cherry MX Red Budget Rig 1 - Sold For $750 Profit Spoiler CPU: Intel i5 7600k Cooler: CryOrig H7 Motherboard: MSI Z270 M5 RAM: Crucial LPX 16GB DDR4 Storage: Intel S3510 800GB GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 PSU: Corsair CX650M Case: EVGA DG73 Monitor: LG 29WK500 Mouse: G.Skill MX780 Keyboard: G.Skill KM780 Cherry MX Red OG Gaming Rig - Gone Spoiler CPU: Intel i5 4690k Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 Motherboard: MSI Z97i AC ITX RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16GB DDR3 Storage: Kingston Fury 240GB GPU: Asus Strix GTX 970 PSU: Thermaltake TR2 Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX Monitor: Dell P2214H x2 Mouse: Logitech MX Master Keyboard: G.Skill KM780 Cherry MX Red
 Posted January 6, 2014 1080p on 27" is stupid imo. The 2.5k ones the one im going for. In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood.... For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. Posted January 6, 2014 Only 16:9 aspects? Sod it, I'm buying into mantle and AMD, Gsync isn't worth hoping for a sensible monitor for. Of course, AMD could ruin my intentions by making their new dual GPU as bad as the 7990 was. Crossing my fingers this vesuvius card isn't a train wreck And also crossing my fingers that someone will reverse-engineer H-Sync*. *Hack-sync In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back. Posted January 6, 2014 I'm going to guess pricing in the $699 bracket to start off. The G-sync module it self is only 150$ right now. With mass production the G-sync module should drop in price. So a G-sync monitor will be probably only about 100$ more expensive which is totally worth it for being lag, stutter, and tearing free. But when it's released in Q2 it's going to be into $1,000 I think for the 1440p. Philips has their 27" 1080p at $649, and they're not exactly a well known brand as far as high performance monitors.
