Buying a 980 ti in 2018? Is it worth it?

I recently purchased a Gigabyte GeForce gtx 980 ti for $260, and was wondering how it would hold up compared to the Nvidia 10 series cards(1070,1080). I'm planning to pair it with a Ryzen 2700X for reference.

980ti is about as good as a 1070. Its a good card in 2018.

980 Ti is comparable to a 1070. For $260, a very good deal
