If you drink too much then you'll get alcohol poisoning, how much is too much I hear you ask, I don't know.

Constantly drinking, being alcoholic, can lead to liver failure, but you'll get a cocktail of other diseases before and after that happens.

That being said, drink responsibly, when you're of the legal age of course.

Not physically.  Sure if you did this routinely for years those effects would start to build up but a couple times is not going to have any long term effects other than the knowledge and experience you gained from it, and the impact of any decisions or actions you made during.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

You're fine. Honestly though, if you have to ask a question like that, you probably shouldn't be drinking at all.

It's never recommended to have more than 4 (Australian) standard drinks in one night, and keep it under 2 is preferable.

That said, you will not suddenly get cancer, it's a thing that happens over time.

If you have like 1 beer everyday with your large meal of the day, you should be fine as long as you also go on some walks.

Should go without saying but whatever you do don't drink and drive.  Buzzed driving is drunk driving.

Just don't drink so often that it's all you want every day, with the place I'm working at I've seen too many people in that condition.

People handle alcohol differently. binge drinking isn't great but neither is constant heavy drinking. General consensus seems to be a few drinks a week with the "few" number varying depending on where you look. If you're concerned about it, don't be afraid to ask your doctor if it is okay if you indulge once in a while.

I would highly advise against heavily drinking for another 6 years. It is likely going to be very bad for your health.

Studies show that a glass of red wine for example can reduce your risk of heart disease but like with anything you have to do it in moderation, i know people that drink every Friday and are still perfectly healthy. I myself haven't drunk in a long while

As people have mentioned before, it's no big deal to be drunk (even if it's many times) as long as you don't make a habit out of it and do it for many many years.

Have fun while you are young, but watch out for alcohol poisoning.

Also, it's important to know that alcohol can be very negative for a young person's developing brain so it is not recommended to drink if you are under the legal age. If you want to do so, please be careful or wait until you are just one or two years off from the legal drinking age. It's there for a reason.
