Which brand makes best GPU for cooling and durability? (NVIDIA cards)

Hiten Das

I am talking about NVIDIA cards.

I don't want to know about liquid cooling.

I want to know about air cooled cards.

Which brand makes best cooler design for NVIDIA gpu?

There is no real best brand aside from the insane cards built for LN2 from various manufacturers.

Though EVGA is usually recommended for Nvidia with their higher end brands like ICX 2.0/3.0

Most of them with decent sized coolers will be fine though.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Barely a difference between them, 3 fan cards might be slightly cooler than 2 fan cards but it's mostly aesthetics and how much noice they make.

EVGA's ACX cooler is great. Asus' Strix, Gigabyte anything with 2+ fans. Pretty much anything with 2" fans. Blower style cards are generally considered to have relatively poor thermals. Longevity will depend mostly on luck, or how often you drink coffee on top of your computer

Well it's really up to the build quality most manufacturers are coming really close to one another but sometimes even with great cooling solution there is some problems as "Fan buzzing because of bad design and etc".

You won't mistake if you take a card from these manufacturers: GIGABYTE - ASUS - EVGA

Of course ALWAYS search online for problems of the card before buying it, don't just look at some reviews !

I don't drink coffee. My card confirmed to last forever. /s

evga for warranty, but i wouldnt say the quality's any better than the rest; best card depends on gen and budget, for "regular" priced 1080 ti it was the strix, dunno yet about the 2080 ti.

Do i need to think that, Gigabyte is better than MSI in case of cooling, blade design, noise, build quality? Because you didn't take name of MSI.

Asus and evga always comes with quite high price premium in my region.

Avoid MSI at all cost, I have to manually spin the fan to start

I have friend that has a MSI GTX 1080 but he doesn't do any overclocking so I can't tell from personal experience how good it is, I guess they are ok from what I've read, but they are not liked by the enthusiasts.

That's why Gigabyte comes with some "budget" Solutions but they are great too
