If you can find a SHP9500 within budget, go for it over all else. The SHP9500 is about as good as it gets for budget audio.

I have the SHP 9500...and yeah they sound good. But the sound profile lacks bass and the highs are too sharp. It just doesn’t make music very enjoyable. The Status Audio CB-1 would no doubt sound better to most people because they have more bass.
