partiton hard drive without formatting

I have this hdd with windows on it and i want to make a partition with one of them being empty and one of them having everything else.

How would I do this?

You can resize it with the Windows Drive Manager. Though it is recommended that you make a backup of your important files anyway as it is possible that something goes wrong and destroys the data.

 

But why do you want to make another Partition?

 

The only reason is to move the Windows Partition to another drive.

I want to try and dual boot.
