Life Is Strange 2 trailer and release date revealed by Dontnod & Square Enix

Life Is Strange 2 info has been revealed. The first episode of the game will be launching September 27th.

Following several teases, Square Enix and developer Dontnod Entertainment have finally fully unveiled Life is Strange 2. The new episodic series will focus new characters Sean and Daniel Diaz, and send players on a perilous cross-country road trip. Check out the debut trailer for Life is Strange 2, below.

The main characters of Life is Strange 2 are brothers Sean (16) and Daniel Diaz (9), two brothers living a fairly normal life in Seattle, Washington state. Following a tragic event, their lives are forever changed. Now on the run from the police and threatened with both separation and incarceration, Sean decides to take his younger brother and seek a better life in their family’s home town of Puerto Lobos, Mexico.

Life on the road is tough and dangerous. The brothers will face all manner of challenges as they bravely undertake a journey that will test the bonds of brotherhood. Playing as Sean, you will need to make the kind of tough choices you can expect from a Life is Strange game, and you will need to live with the consequences of your actions. The game will this time focus on brotherhood alongside the need to guide and educate your younger brother whilst simultaneously coming of age yourself.

 

As with prior entries in the franchise, I am expecting the game to cover many mature and/or potentially controversial themes.

 

I hope this time they manage to space out the episodes properly so that each episodes comes out every 2-3 weeks instead of a month between each one.

What's high about it? Ignoring minimums, even the recommended CPUs are mid range from over 5 years ago, GPUs from 4-5 years ago.

The previous entries in the series had super low requirements. I could play an earlier game on a Surface.

 

This is more in line with AAA titles with awesome graphics.

It'll more than likely run just fine on machines well under the minimum recommendation, so I wouldn't worry too much.

This time though they are using Unreal Engine 4 which is more demanding than UE3 and Unity5 used in LIS 1 and LIS:BTS respectively.

I dont play these types of graphic novel games but I would definitely have assumed that these would have run just fine on toasters

I'll get the game on pc, no doubt about it but I'm still hoping for a switch release (or at least season 1)
